No. 11 consists of five self-contained flats with eight bedrooms and is next door to our main hostel. These flats provide a safe place for young people to stay who have left our hostel and are working towards independence. No. 11 is in desperate need of new heating, kitchens and re-decoration.

Without No. 11 we’ll have to turn away 150 young people every year. Without No. 11 young people who move on from the hostel could become homeless again. 

After her dad died Sam and her mum argued constantly, so she left home and spent three years moving around hostels. After support from Roundabout she has her own tenancy. “The staff were all amazing; they encouraged me to budget, helped with bills and generally supported me. I loved being in my own place.”
