Story
As somebody that has the privilege to work with young people every single day, I feel strongly about their prospects and their futures. Roundabout is Sheffield's youth homeless charity. Every day, they provide shelter and support to over 150 young people in Sheffield who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. I am raising money by running 1km for each young person they help every day.
To raise money to help the work that Roundabout do with 150 young people every day, I am competing in 15 official 10km races over 15 consecutive weekends. This will be a total of 150km, each one representing one of the young people that Roundabout help every day. The first race was on 4/9/16 at the Sherwood Pines 10k Trail Race and the last race will be on 11/12/16 (Bolsover 10k). It would be great to have some support so if you're in any of the random places on my schedule (below) then please let me know!!
Initially, I am aiming to raise £60 per race. Please give generously.
