St Catherine's Hospice is thrilled to be holding a superhero-themed 100ft abseil at Superhero Headquarters, the Sandman Signature Hotel, Tinsley Lane South, Crawley on 7 and 8 of October 2016.

Hospice heroes from far and wide will be descending on their own as a personal mission, with a group of friends or work colleagues - all that's needed is a good sense of balance and the ability to control one's nerves; it's not for the faint hearted!

With less than one third of St Catherine's income coming from the NHS, St Catherine's relies on events, like the Superhero Abseil, and the support of the local community to raise the £17,000 needed each day to continue providing our specialist care. Since last year's Abseil we've supported 2,178 patients across Sussex and Surrey, and helped 551 people with emotional and counselling support.
