At a time when local schools are paving over their playgrounds, we want to build a new outdoor sports facility for people in Dagenham.

Local schools already use our hall, as well as dance groups and our own toddler group and youth groups.

The multi-use games area (MUGA) will provide a safe environment for outdoor games and will be available for hire by community organisations, such as youth and disability groups.

Church member Sony Ejemai, who coaches youth football in Dagenham, is asking guests at his 50th birthday party to donate to the project rather than getting him a gift.

“Jesus told us to love your neighbour,” says Sony, “and this project is a fantastic way to do that.”
