Run, walk, skip or even dance your way around our sparkling 5k Glitter Run at Taunton and Wincanton Racecourse, kindly sponsored by West Country Windows and Gibbins Richards.  

The entrance fee paid at the time of booking cover the cost of this event, with that in mind, St. Margaret's Hospice is asking all runners/walkers/skippers to raise sponsorship to ensure over 3,800 receive the care and support they need across Somerset each year.  Book your place here  1 in 3 people in Somerset will need our support in their lifetime, your sponsorship will ensure your neighbour, your friend, your family can be cared for when they need it most.  £25 sponsorship could pay for an adviceline nurse to support a patient during the middle of the night.  £50 sponsorship could pay for a patient to spend a day in our Sunflower Centre, meeting people in similar circumstances, receiving symptom control advice and providing crucial respite for carers.  £100 sponsorship could pay for a Specialist Community Nurse to visit a patient being cared for at home.  If you would prefer to make a donation rather than raise sponsorship, you can do so through the booking page. No matter how much you raise, your money will be going to support people in your local community, across Somerset.
