Story

Trish (Granny) has been suffering for a while now, firstly with breast cancer and now ovarian cancer particularly over the past 15 months. She is in St Margaret’s Hospice in Yeovil and has been there for the past couple of months now and the care there has been outstanding. Granny is on end of life care and every day with Trish is special. This Glitter Run event is taking place 2 days before Evie’s 13th birthday and the thought of not having Granny here to help her celebrate is too much to contemplate right now. Trish has been the most amazing Mum to me since my mum passed away of cancer nearly 18 years ago and she is the best granny any child could ever ask for. She definitely has a naughty sense of humour.

I don’t know anyone who isn’t affected by this awful disease in some way at the moment, but all I can say is St Margaret’s Hospice is beautiful, full of kindness and lots of happiness too.

I can’t run for toffee but I love glitter so this is perfect for both Evie, I and of course Granny

Thank you xxxxxxx
