Story
There has been a library on this spot, the corner of Antrim Grove in Belsize Park, since 1896. In 2012, the council stopped its funding but the library was rescued by local children’s charity The Winch, which has many demands on its finances.
Don’t let ours be the generation that sees the library close! It is a beautiful public space full of light, warmth, books and toys, that welcomes local people of any age or income to sit reading or playing or drinking a cup of tea, to be amongst other people, and allows children to discover the pleasure of books whether or not their parents can afford to buy them. It nourishes the soul of Belsize Park.
Please make a donation to help safeguard its future. If we lose it, it won’t come back.
