Every night YMCA DownsLink Group provides over 550 young people with a safe place to stay. All money raised through Sleep Easy 2018 will be used to change lives.  

In Brighton & Hove we are working in partnership with other organisations on an initiative called Galvanise Brighton & Hove to find creative solutions to homelessness. Sleep Easy 2018 will raise money for both YMCA DLG's Life Change Fund and GalvaniseBH.  

The Life Change Fund makes a difference for young people like Thea. She had lived in a YMCA hostel for some time and successfully applied for a  place at university. Although she had saved towards it she didn't have enough money to secure her accommodation and purchase a laptop. Thanks to last year's Sleep Easy the Life Change Fund was available, enabling her to take this significant step forward on her journey. Read Thea's story here.   

In Horsham donations for Sleep Easy will go towards YMCA DLG's Life Change Fund and will be spent locally. This makes funds available to young people in specific need who are otherwise prevented from taking up an opportunity e.g. for training or education, that will be a significant step forward for them.  

In Guildford Sleep Easy will raise funds for the Life Change Fund and for activities that will engage and inspire residents living in YMCA supported housing.

We offer support and opportunities so that the young people can achieve their full potential. Our aim is that they all belong, contribute and thrive.
