York Theatre Royal has been producing great drama in York for over 250 years and is one of the country's leading producing theatres. The theatre entertains over 200,000 people with it's wide variety of performances, events and activities. We have one of the largest Youth Theatre groups in the country with over 300 members. 

However, not everyone has the opportunity to be part of us and the Youth Theatre. This is why we created our Access All Area program. This is for disadvantaged teenagers, young carers, looked after children and young adults with learning difficulties. We want more young people to have opportunities to engage with us. We want to provide the means for a life-long engagement with the theatre, no matter what a young person's background or experience. We aim to remove existing barriers and to raise aspirations in a fun and safe environment. 

We are aiming to raise a minimum of £1,500 for one supported place in Access All Areas.
