Hi all,

I have decided to raise money for the new Oxford Cancer Centre at the John Radcliffe Hospital by trekking across the Sahara. Before some of you begin to think that this may be a holiday let me tell you that trekking for 8 hours a day in 40 degree heat isn't quite what i would call a holiday...best I get down the gym and start getting some trekking practice in!

The money I will raise will go towards state-of-the-art Equipment and patient comfort items that are beyond the ability of the NHS investments alone. The patients will receive the best possible care in a setting that stimulates healing and innovation.

I am planning car boot stalls, raffles, cake stalls and a few evening events, more of which i will post on here when i have the set dates.
