On 24th June 2012 I will be attempting my first half marathon!!  Although I have been training for this, I have yet to run the 13 mile distance so will need all the help, support and motivation to reach the finishing line!

I wanted to raise some money while I was at it and wanted to do so for the Stroke Asssociation. They not only fund vital research but provide emotional, practical and financial support for stoke survivors and their families.

This charity is particularly important and relevant to me and my family at this time, as my cousin, Sam (aged 37) had a major stroke 8 weeks ago and has just been discharged from hospital and transferred to a rehab unit where he will be having intensive rehabilitation before he can return home. So I would be extremely grateful if you could donate whatever you can to this very worthy cause.
