Story

Updated 21st May

A team from CBG went up the hill
to raise some money for charity
They all came down one by one
full of awe for the beautiful views

After climbing over 2500ft we all made to the top of Mt Snowdon, energy bars
or chocolate (not sure which) helped us up over the large steps and slippery surfaces.
The weather couldn't have been better, and the 360 degree views from the top
were amazing.

After a team photo and a short stop at the new cafe, we were all ready to begin
the descent and face the pull of gravity down a different pathway, and passing all
those on their way up.

So after a coach journey that nearly resulted in us not getting to the start, 5
hours of mountain air and lots of exercise we were ready for a relaxing journey
home, a hot bath and a lie in on Sunday! or should we have done it all again
the next day?

Thank you to everyone who has donated and encouraged us along the way, and
therefore helping us to surpass our target.

Thank you

On Saturday 15th May, colleagues from Carte Blanche Greetings and friends, are going to climb in order to help raise funds towards the CBG target of £25,000 for Southampton PICU.

The route to the top will be via the ‘Pyg’ track and descending via the ‘Miners’ path.  Both will provide a fair challenge no matter what the weather condition, which is always unpredictable.  These routes will provide some wonderful dramatic mountain scenery to spur us all onwards.

Over the course of the day we will cover 7.5 miles and over 5000 feet, and it should take approx 6 hours – we hope!!.  But we may all want to stop at the new architecturally designed café near the summit for a hot cup of cocoa.

Your generosity would be greatly appreciated for this worthwhile cause. Thank You.

Carte Blanche Greetings Ltd famous for it’s Me to You featuring Tatty Teddy and new brands such Violent Veg and Vivacious Veg is proud to support the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at .  The PICU is the lead centre for paediatric intensive care in South West England and a recognised centre for training in paediatric intensive care medicine.  The Unit has 11 beds and treats over 730 children per year ranging in age from New Born – 18years  in specialist areas such as cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, medical emergencies and neonatal surgery.
