CC vs Gravity: Skydiving for Guide Dogs

CC vs Gravity: Skydiving for Guide Dogs · 27 June 2017
On the 27th of June this year, I will be setting the bar sky high (10,000 ft) to dive with Warwick (the flyest team around) for Guide Dogs UK. Hopefully it will be plane sailing, but this is going to be an incredible challenge nonetheless, and I'd like your help to enable me to support this fantastic charity and achieve my lofty goal.
Guide Dogs UK works to raise awareness for the rights of those affected by visual impairments as they face widespread discrimination: for example, 75% of assistance dog owners surveyed have been refused access to a restaurant, shop or taxi in the last 6 months. They also fund eye disease research, provide rehabilitation services to children & young adults, and most importantly gives them independence: mobility and freedom through the animals they breed and train for assistance. This is a crucial step in ensuring that these people can lead autonomous lives and grow their confidence.
