Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page!!

Our aim is to trek 190 miles across the UK from St Bees to Robin Hoods Bay in 12-days and raise as much money as we can for the Renal Kidney Unit at Nottingham City Hospital and maybe have some fun on the way!

The walk is in memory of Simon Challenger AKA Chall who suffered from Kidney failure during the last 18-month of his life. The Renal Unit offered amazing support and help during that time, not only to Simon but to his parents and close family.

Simon passed away peacefully at home in June 2006 aged 36, he always said he wanted to walk the Coast to Coast again when he recovered, just showing his ever determination not to give up the fight.

Please see our website below, it explains the details of the walk, walkers and lots of other interesting information.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: The Renal Kidney Unit at Nottingham University Hospitals Charity will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

Please donate generously.

Many thanks for your support.
