A date for your diaries - 13th April 2008

For years I've watched on as people train through the British winter for London Marathon - and this year I'm very pleased to have been given the opportunity to join them!

I'm running to raise money for Phabkids - a national charity that aims to promote and encourage people with and without physical disabilities to come together on equal terms, to achieve complete inclusion within the wider community and to make more of life together.

Phabkids runs a network of over 200 clubs which provide valuable support for families and carers. Phabkids  also fund and organise Phabkids residential holidays for children - many of whom are disabled by conditions that include autism, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida or as a result of an accident.
