Riding for the Disabled Association is a voluntary cross-community charity with a strong commitment to improving the lives of children and adults with physical and mental disabilities. Our aim is straightforward:- to bring a spark in to the life of someone in need. At the Fort Centre, we have provided year-round horse-riding opportunities for children and adults with disabilities for over 35 years. Our service to helping others is simple but effective in that horse-riding develops self-confidence, responsibility and promotes teamwork and therapeutic exercise for riders who take part in activities at Fort Centre.
