We train rural health workers to provide emergency dental care

Story

Chloe and I have signed up (rightly or wrongly!) to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in August 2007 to raise money for Bridge 2 Aid.  This will involve climbing for 8 days, experiencing temperatures of 40 degrees at the foot and -40 degrees at the summit, which reaches nearly 20,000 feet (5,895m) !

Bridge 2 Aid are a fantastic charity that are raising money to support dental care in Tanzania.  Obviously there are no government provisions made in Tanzania for dentistry and so people are left to suffer with terrible oral health.

Bridge 2 Aid have asked us to raise at least £6,000 between us and so we are asking you for a donation to this fantastic cause.  Please make a donation now!  As much as you can!

We are also offering special sponsorship packages for companies, which you may or may not be interested in!

The climb will be extremely well documented in Dentistry Magazine, along with a personal diary on Dentistry.co.uk.  We will ensure significant coverage for your company and you will be seen as a company who feels strongly about making provisions for health in places that need it most.  And all the money will be given to the charity Bridge 2 Aid!

Please contact us if you are interested in a Sponsorship package.  Otherwise please make a donation for as much as you can online now!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Bridge2aid will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
