Thanks for landing on this page! I've done a lot of running and far too little raising for charity - hence to avoid the bad karma I'm aiming to fix it all with this last endeavour! To summarise what I'll be doing:

First off on November 20 2013 for the Antarctica marathon I’ll be running in -20 degrees on soft snow, in 24 hour daylight with no shelter apart from tents, in katabatic winds with a bucket for a toilet and a satellite phone as the only way to communicate with the outside world for the 5 days that I'm on the ice - I’m going to look delightful when I get back I’m sure... *does neanderthal impression*. Then of course, I'll fly to Chile where I plan to purchase an offensive Mexican hat, speak Spanish badly and do it all again 10 days later, minus the snow.  

There we have it! Two marathons, ten days and a lot of swearing. Celebrations after will involve a clear liquid that goes very nicely with lime and soda...
