About Water Aid:
Water Aid is an independent international organisation which works in 17 of the world’s poorest countries to give some of the world’s poorest people access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education - the first essential steps in overcoming poverty.
Water Aid work with local partners to understand local issues and provide them with the skills and support to help a community set up and manage sustainable projects to meet their real needs.
Hill Dickinson have been working in conjunction with Water Aid for the past year and have been solely funding a community project in thevillage ofBeldada, a village in rural Nepal. Having seen the difference Water Aid has made in Beldada, we, as a team, are keen to help other communities both in Nepal and in the other countries where Water Aid work.
More information can be found on the Wateraid website which is www.wateraid.org. More information on the actual challenge - so you can see what we are letting ourselves in for is at www.wateraidsixpeakschallenge.org.uk.
