Story

Well it started off as a friendly match between the residents of the Foyer, and the Phoenix project. Jordan Whyborne, one of the Foyer's residents plays for a charity team called Homeless FA, in which they raise money to help encourage and fund young people into getting back into working life. Upon discussion between other Foyer residents in a team meeting, an idea of running their very own charity football match for Chestnut Tree House come to light. Christie & Jim (members of staff at the Foyer) agreed to help plan and support the idea, therefore a member of the Chestnut Tree House charity, visited the Foyer in another team meeting, and agreed to give is £50 to help us financially arrange the match. We are looking to raise as much money as possible for children and family's at the hospice. Its such a great cause and a local charity. We have 6 teams entering and believe it will be a good day of football, taking place at Worthing Town FC's home ground of palatine  park taking place on Friday 29th August. See you all there.
