I know I said I was not going to do this again but being a somewhat deluded soul I decided whilst watching the marathon last year on TV (whilst recovering from a hernia op) that I missed not doing it! So I took a punt and ended up with a place via the ballot.

Why Bowel Cancer? Bowel Cancer is a relatively unknown form of cancer (although becoming better known), however I now know of three people who have had or have it so in the interests of trying to raise money for a charity that means something to me I chose Bowel Cancer.

I'm not constrained by a fund raising target as such as I have a ballot place but I would like to get to £500 and anything you can sponsor me with is appreciated. I also recognise the fact the Gill is doing the moonwalk and probably already pinged for sponsorship so anything in the current economic climate is appreciated!
