Story

Hello and thank you very much for visiting my fundraising page!

In October 2009 I will be taking on a gruelling Challenge Event in Borneo, raising funds for The Prince's Trust - a fantastic charity supporting disadvantaged young people from across the UK. The charity works to address youth unemployment and youth crime, through providing practical help and support to those young people who need it the most.

Our team will be undertaking a ten day , 175km expedition through the wilds of Borneo, climbing one of the highest mountains in South East Asia (Mount Kinabalu, at 4,095 metres), and spending up to 10 hours a day trekking and biking to reach the finishing line at the coast.

I will be training hard over the next 6 months to prepare, but can only do this with your help. Your support will push me on in training, and up the mountain and through the rainforest in Borneo!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Prince's Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

If you'd like to know more about the Challenge, how I'm doing in training, or details about any of the fundraising events I'll be organising, please email me on christinaemslie@gmail.com.

Thank you so much - I really appreciate your help.
