My name is Matthew Meyritz and in december 2008 I cooked a large christmas dinner for the homeless and vulnerable people in canterbury. It was a huge success and this year on the 9th of december.

I have been sponsored by the Toad Rock Retreat in Tunbridge wells and have also had donations fron canterbury christ church university who will be suppying the veg as well as cooking all the food on the day so that it is ready for the event when I open the doors. Canterbury rotary club have sponsored me £100 to help buy the cups and drinks. I put an article into the local paper recently and received floods of people wanting to help and now I have a strong team of 20 on the day.
