We fund life-changing and life-saving work to support cancer patients at The Christie

Story

Thank you for visiting Chris's fundraising page.

Chris passed away  aged 49 years on June 13th 2008 after a long hard  ten month battle against cancer.  He has left behind a heartbroken wife, four children, his   mother and  two sisters. He was a much loved Uncle, brother in law , nephew, cousin and a very respected colleague.

By donating, you are helping to support Christie's in their fight to find cures  in the future, through research into the liver and lung cancer Chris and others  get diagnosed with. Chris was under the care of the Oncologist Dr Juan Valle and his team at Christie's and they tried every possible option available to prolong Chris's life. Those ten months of extra time they gave us together because of their research programmes were invaluable and very precious.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to raise money to  help fight this nightmare disease: Christie's will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

During 2009 we will let you know about any events being held in Chris's memory and hopefully we can raise some money for his cause.

Many thanks for your support.

Love to all -keep in touch with us via the Facebook page.

 Everyone xx
