Hey peeps!!

Thank you for visiting Piglet's fundraising page - it's very kind of you to do so.  As 13 April 2008 is fast approaching, I thought I'd try to be organised for once in my life and set up a JustGiving page well in advance of the big day!! 

I am not running the marathon under a specific charity place so am under no obligation to raise any money.  However, many people (including several of my closest friends) have lost their mothers to breast cancer or many of you have people in your own families who have at some stage suffered from the disease.  I am running the 26 miles regardless of any sponsorship, but if you do want to contribute to a very good cause, I hope it will give me an added incentive to keep clocking up the miles both before and on 13th April 2008 - at the same time, it gives you all a good reason to part with some pennies!!!!!  It is not possible for me to set up a page for two charities, but I am also raising money for Isabel Hospice in Welwyn Garden City, Herfordshire.  You can visit my other page if you would prefer to donate some sponsorship money to Isabel Hospice.

I can't promise my usual pig attire for a full marathon, but I will amuse my loyal supporters on the day with some form of fancy dress!!
