Mont Blanc. 15,800 feet of snow, rock and ice. The air will be thin, the going will be tough and the weather will be unpredictable. As the tallest peak in Western Europe, it presents a huge challenge to any mountaineer.
In August this year, Jay Wyatt and I are climbing it in aid of CLIC Sargent.

We chose CLIC Sargent because of the outstanding work they do with young people affected by cancer and leukaemia. On a personal level they helped me when I was diagnosed with cancer in my left leg as a child. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have received the same quality of care. So I feel it's only right that I try to and give something in return, even if it pales in comparison to what they've done for me and countless other children.
