2017 is the 10th anniversary of the Severn Freewheelers charity. In the beginning there were just four guys involved who wanted to help the NHS. Now there are around 100 members, and to celebrate our 10th anniversary each member has agreed to obtain donations of at least £100 so that together we raise £10k to fund a second-hand (ex-police) motorcycle.

For my £100+ fund raising, I have agreed to ride 100 miles on my bicycle in the first ever “Birmingham Velo” a closed roads sportive taking place on 24th September 2017, that starts/finishes in central Birmingham and passes through rural Worcestershire and Staffordshire. It is expected to involve c 15,000 cyclists!
