This year myself and a two other friends from Shell Central Asset will be running the Aviemore Half Marathon on 19th October 2008.
I lost my wife to the side effect of Diabetes appox. 7 years ago. As a result of this, when I take part in these longer runs I like to support Diabetes UK.
Diabetes UK is the largest organisation in the UK working for people with diabetes, funding research; campaigning and helping people live with the condition.
There are currently over 2.3 million people with diabetes in the UK and there are more than half a million people with diabetes who have the condition and don’t know it.
It would be great if you can support me in this challenge.
