Story

In March 2017 we’re doing the seemingly impossible – cycling 300+ miles (off-road and up mountain passes) in five days on Transaid’s Cycle South Africa Challenge.

We say “seemingly impossible” as we’re both overweight, ridiculously unfit, eat and drink the wrong things and aren’t big fans of cycling/cyclists! But it’s for a very good cause, so for a year we’re going to attempt to change our lifestyles and overlook our
prejudices.

You’ll be able to read all about our journey on the pages of Commercial Motor and Truck & Driver, and all of our key corporate sponsors will have their logos printed on a special thank you advert in the magazine.

Please help us to reach our target of £10,000 – every single pound will be greatly appreciated.

In return for your generous pledges, we’ll make 3 very important promises to you.

  1. We won’t undertake trucks
  2. We won’t run red lights
  3. We won’t wear Lycra!
