My best friend Andy Kaye is getting married this year and has decided that he would like to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge for his Stag weekend. Sounds like great fun, eh?

In fact, we are doing this in memory of Andy's sister-in-law, who sadly passed away recently. Therefore, we are grateful for any donation large or small to go to Cancer Research UK.

The challenge itself is to walk the three peaks of Yorkshire (25 miles) in approx 12 hours. In my mind, I will be Ray Mears, drinking water from tree roots and hunting squirrels. I am assured however, that it is not quite so hard-core but will be tough.
