Story
7th sidcup scout group was founded in the 1940s in the 1950s a scout hut was build in Wellington Avenue in Blackfen. The roof is of tin plate construction and has had regular repair over the years. The roof is now in a state of disrepair and will cost £8000 to replace. The hut is used by children of various ages for scouting activities to broaden there education and most of all have fun. If the roof is not repaired this facility will be lost. Please help save the hut for the community.

7 years agoWe're in the process of having our flat roof section repaired, this has been completed by a local company as a donation as as training for staff.
