Story
On the 21st of April i will be taking part in the East Coast Triathlon to raise money for 901 Troop marine cadets.
901 Troop Marine Cadets is a youth organisation based in Winterton-on-Sea and Caister-on-Sea. We parade on Monday and Friday nights every week from 18:30 to 21:30 where the cadets learn key skills and take part in lessons that help them advance through our syllabus of recruit to MC1.
We strive to give young people an adventurous and fun aspect based on the Royal Marines. We do this to improve a number of things including confidence, discipline, teamwork and general life skills that can benefit them later on in life.
Some of the activities the cadets get involved with are:
Command Tasks
Sailing
Radio Communications
Fieldcraft
Map & Compass
Shooting
Continuity Drill
Weapons Drill
First Aid
We are also planning a trip to France this year.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated, or if you are interested in joining there is a link to the website below.
