Story
When my sister and I were younger, we were involved in a devastating car accident which took the lives of both our grandparents and left us with life threatening and life changing injuries.
Its down to the CICU (children's intensive care unit) at the Leicester Royal Infirmary that we are alive today and have gone on and continue to live our lives to the fullest.
Not only were they like angles to us, the staff there also kept our parents spirits high when things seemed there bleakest.
These people gathered round to help us in our time of need and continue to do so for others like us. We want to support them for a change and give a little something back by raising as much money as we can for them to help buy new equipment and maybe have a bit of a party on the ward.
This really is our way of saying thank you for all you do and to let you know doesn't go unnoticed and is never forgotten about!
We, as I know many other do, owe our lives to you and cannot say these words enough......THANK YOU!!!!! xxx
