My daughter dances a lot. She started in January this year and currently spends 6 days out of 7 dancing. She does Latin/Ballroom, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary Dance, Cheerleading, Stunt Cheer and Street dance and it’s tiring to say the least. I go to watch very nearly every dance class and to say it’s amazing seeing this little girl move from being quiet and unassuming to a confident and physically fit dancer. All the girls there are so dedicated it inspires me to move towards my own goals with more passion.

One thing I’ve noticed about these girls [and some boys] is that they are brutally dedicated to their dancing. They dance with injuries and ailments that most adults would completely stop all activities for, and its inspiring to see.
The Dance school do a lot to make sure that these guys compete and showcase their amazing work at all levels, Jason and Shemayne work every day and night of the week teaching these kids the joys of dancing and a healthy dose of discipline. I’ve personally been through Army training and I am not convinced I got shouted at as much as the girls do.

One thing about this school is that the outfits and clothing they wear for the events cost money. Unlike other schools around the country who pass the cost on to the parents ‘Dance with Passion’ do not. For example, some schools charge the parents £600 per year for the clothing and costumes. The problem with this is that sometimes not passing the charge onto the parents can leave the school short of funds, but give more opportunities to young children who would otherwise be the ones you see outside shops late at night causing trouble.
