Very soon my brother and l will be joining Team Freddie again for the Great South Run. We will be tackling the 10 mile run in contrasting styles, William will be similar to Mo Farah, I will be more like Homer Simpson...

But this doesn't matter, the most important thing is raising money towards Freddie's Wish, the charity set up by my best friend in memory of her amazing little boy Freddie (and my wonderful Godson) after he was involved in a road traffic accident and tragically passed away. The charity has already provided several free paediatric first aid training sessions and aims to support other families who are experiencing the devastating effects of child bereavement.

We will be running on 23rd October which would also have been Freddie's 3rd birthday, so our birthday cakes for him will have to wait till after we hobble/glide over the finish line!

This follows on from the Wolf Run we ran in September. Mud, rain, wind and Arctic temperatures were what we were up against, but we finished in one piece (nearly)!
