We teach Special Educational Needs children to ride and enjoy working with horses. Horsewyse sessions help Autistic/ADHD/domestic issues/anxiety/depression (and many other forms of disabilities) that children and adults may have. Sadly we no longer have our weight carrying calm and kind horse that helped these children and adults .... the pony had to retire. We have ponies who can carry upto 14 stone, however we have customers over this weight and have to turn them away. Our ponies and horses are trained in house and have to be very calm. We are a non profit organisation and monies we make are put back into the school for the SEN customers and horses to benefit from. The majority of our staff are volunteers so we keep our overheads down although offer an excellet much needed service to these children and our ponies and horses are very kind and gentle, they give these children so much pleasure.
