Weʼve raised £820 to to buy a memorial bench for our friend and colleague, John Stewart, who sadly passed away on 19th January.

Story
John was a well respected colleague whose passing has left us all shocked and saddened. He was a very generous person and was always happy to pass on his knowledge and help others.
I'm planning to walk the West Highland Way 96 miles starting on Friday 8th September and any money raised will go towards a fitting memorial in John's memory on behalf of his friends and colleagues. I'm meeting all costs of the walk myself so all money raised will go directly towards the memorial fund. If we exceed the target then any extra cash will be donated to a cancer charity of the Stewart family's choosing.

7 years agoHi Folks, happy to report that the walk was completed as planned and although tough at times, was a great experience. I'm now starting the process of organising John's bench and will let you all know when this has been finalised. Thanks once again for all the donations both online and in person which will help us all show our appreciation for a great guy

I start the walk tomorrow and will post an update after it's finished on Thursday 14th Sept. I will be happy to keep you all updated after this page closes.
