The fundraising page will be coming to an end before midnight on the 2nd of June (John Doe's funeral date) This should give friends (including me!) who get paid at the end of the month an opportunity to donate if they wish, and it will also allow enough time to clear the funds to pay the funeral directors etc. The response has been phenomenal, although not surprising given the warmth everyone had for the man. Absolutely astounded by everyone's generosity! On behalf of everyone involved with arranging John Doe's send off I cannot thank you enough, it will be a huge relief to those closest who had this sudden and unexpected loss to know that the financial burden has been lifted. But please, can I ask that you keep sharing and encouraging others to donate, even a small amount as the initial amount will really only cover basics. John Doe specifically asked for a party afterwards, we have the bare bones of that, but it will have to be paid for also. X
