On Friday 26th may 2017 chris croke went for a life saving heart operation, the operation was a complete success and his partner helen was told it went perfectly and they would gradually try to wake him over the next 24 hours, unfortunately chris's body was to weak to handle this and he suffered a stroke which caused a colossal bleed to his brain leaving him with no brain activity, helen stayed by his side for 3 days until eventually his life support was switched off leaving helen, her family, Chris's family and friends devasted, as many are aware helen and chris are still paying for chris's late brother Jason crokes funeral and to help with the extra stress and strain of funeral costs Chris's dear friends lee and kelvin are organising a fundraiser at the deers leap on Sunday 18th June 2017.
