We are a group of nine aiming to complete the three peaks challenge on the 16th June. (In case you haven't heard of the three peaks, it is climbing the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland in just twenty fours!) This is no easy feat and we have been training vigorously for weeks.
Why are we taking this upon ourselves? Glad you asked!
We are trying to raise money for a small independent school in Luton so that the children can have interactive whiteboards in the classrooms. We know this will help their learning greatly but will never be able to afford them without fundraising.
In our group we have four parents of children in the school and five teens between fourteen and sixteen.
We are aiming to raise £3000 and whilst this may seem an ambitious amount, it is not impossible.
Every little bit of sponsor money will help the cause and all the parents, staff and especially children will be extremely thankful for any help!
