Hi and thank you for looking at my page. An amazing lady called Rose is organising for me and others to do a roof top walk in the 02 arena in London in September to raise money for Lily's dream of going to Disneyland come true. This is all for our beautiful Lily who is 7 years old.

When she was 18 months old she was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis which is an autoimmune disease which causes inflammation and pain in her joints.When she was 22 months old she was diagnosed with uveitis which causes inflammation in her eyes. She also has hyper mobility. She has had cataract surgery to both her eyes which means she is partially sighted and has to wear glasses with thick lens without these she cannot see.Her condition has got worse and her diagnosis is now Onset Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic arthritis which not only affects her joints but her organs too. She has had numerous steroid injections into her joints under general anaesthetic, she's had MRI scans done under general anaesthetic, CT scans, lung function tests, blood tests, echos, ECG's and xray's. She goes to Great Ormond Street Hospital once a fortnight to have her bloods tested and an infusion of Tocilizumab, she also has an injection once a week of Methotrexate and is on strong painkillers daily. Life is very hard for her as she cannot keep up with her friends due to constant pain, she uses a wheelchair as she cannot walk far before being in a lot of pain with her feet.Her neck gets very stiff and painful which results in her not being able to move it, we have to turn her in her bed as this is too painful when her neck is bad.

Despite all this Lily is one of the most happiest, determined and bravest little girl and we love her more than anything. We would give anything for her not to have this disease and to see her be able to enjoy being a child. This is why we would like help to make her dream come true of going to Disneyland. Xx
