I am fundraising for Cancer Research UK in honour of my dad who has battled with an incurable cancer for over 14 years. Through research and brand new drug trials, I have been blessed with these extra years with my dad. I have already raised £1,000 on my other Just Giving page and hope to hit my target of £4,000 by September.

I have set this crowdfunding page up in memory of my grandad Papa, who sadly passed away in November 2016 from Bowel Cancer. He is sorely missed by all of us.

One of the highlights of my charity trek in Iceland was FaceTiming my mum and grandad when he was in hospital, only a few short months before we lost him. I told Papa that I would call him from the top of Kilimanjaro.

I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in August 2017 but before I go I need to raise some additional money to help me pay for my trek. All donations to my charity fundraising page are used by the charity and do not contribute to my trip. I have already paid my £400 deposit to secure my place, but there is a little left to pay!

My trip costs include the park fees, flights and accommodation which totals £1,950. I will be putting my own money into this and hope to be able to fund as much of the trip as possible myself, but I will need a little help from you!

I have been hosting monthly charity pamper parties which have been averaging just under £200 from each event, so I will be splitting the proceedings onto both fundraising pages. I am creating homemade beauty treatments and gifts to sell at these events for donations so that the lovely girls who attend my parties get to take something away with them as a thank you. I am also in the process of thinking of new ways to fundraise!

Any donation big or small will be a huge help to me, and by being able to complete my challenge and summit the highest peak in Africa, I will be able to raise even more money for Cancer Research UK.
