Story

This is one of the most difficult requests we've ever had to make...

The passing of Paul Lawson on Thursday the 10th of November at 42 years of age, a fantastic Dad, Husband, Brother, beloved Son and much loved Friend.

His sudden passing at this tragic young age has hit us all hard, with all of our thoughts going to Emma and his two beautiful children Jacob who's 10 and Kaitlin 15, to his Mum and Sister.

Whilst we're all coming to terms with such a massive loss, our thoughts are always of his family and our own personal grief on losing such a vibrant, loving, funny and loyal soul and fantastic friend.

Whilst we feel this It's also important to look at what we can do in a more practical manner, to help his family in a situation we would never would imagine being in ourselves.

The costs of a Funeral and expenses can be crippling at any time but more so when this has happened at such a young age with limited or no provisions in place. Including the loss to his children of the financial support Paul would have so wanted to provide to them.

I know it's never a good time but can you help? Anything you can give to help them in their darkest hour would be the best gift of all you could give Paul.

Please note all money received will be received directly to the account of Paul's family and this Crowdfunding request has been emotionally accepted and approved with thanks by Paul's family.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully we can help Paul's family in the most loving way possible.

Hi All, This is the last post I'll be sending out on this, thank you all for following this journey, for your words, your memories, and your total selfless way you've helped Paul's family to the amazing amount of just under £4,000! Words aren't enough to say how grateful we are to each and everyone one of you, you are all simply amazing.... All that's left is to say our goodbyes tomorrow to Paul or as we prefer to say 'Till We Meet Again' Goodnight and Love as Always, Duncan & Tom

Well, we can't believe it's only been 15 days since we started this journey and like all journeys, this one comes to it's end at Midnight tonight. If you know anyone who would still like to contribute you have until Midnight tonight, The Crowdfunding that was started 15 days ago has raised an AMAZING £3,885! An amazing 155+ of you all contributed.. You really are all wonderful people and myself and Tom are so grateful to each and every one of you for your support and memories. Hi All, Just another update so everyone know knows where we're at, another awesome couple of days! The Donations still coming in and outpouring of love and feeling of loss for Paul Lawson has been really moving....To date the Fund Raise has nearly topped an amazing £3,500! Some really important info for you out there, please note the Crowdfund raising will end at Midnight this Sunday the 27th November. We started this journey only 5 days ago and look where we are now...£3000 ! The flood of donations and really heartfelt comments have been difficult at times to comprehend, I think we don't often realise how much we effect people around us till it's too late.. I know Paul know's this now...It would be hard to miss... With Paul's families permission we have the date for Paul's funeral, still can't believe I'm saying that but here we are, all we can do now is give him the send off he rightly deserves.
