    Story

Project Homeland Ghana, Youth Empowerment and Leadership Programme is a 14 day workshop consisting of six hour sessions that enable participants to develop employable skills. It will take place in Sandema, Ghana in December 2017.

Sandema, where this program will take place is located in the Upper East Region. It is one of the most deprived and disadvantaged areas in Ghana. For many young people after they finish school, there are little job prospects and opportunities made available to them. I simply want to encourage young people to aspire to reach great heights despite their environment and circumstances. I want to give them the best opportunity to break out of the rural poverty cycles. Author B.B King said it best, "the beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you."

    Thank you.

Does she know that she can grow up to be anything she wants to be, achieve anything she wants to? Does she know that she is valued, cared for and supported? Project Homeland Ghana is not just a one time thing. I hope that one day, this little girl and the many others I met on my return to Ghana can be a part of this programme. Continue to support, this is just the start of something extraordinary .

Thank you all so much for your support so far. I cannot even begin to tell you how much this means to me. Growing up everyone else around me had the capability to either draw or sing or dance or do something or the other incredibly well, I have always been the one who cares too much and I questioned, how can God use this? Caring is not exactly a super talent nor is it a super ability. But God has put me in a position to make a huge difference on people I do not know yet. I'm so grateful. Keep supporting me and may God continue to bless you.
