Renata was a much loved and valued member of the community, a loyal friend who was always willing to help and someone who valued family life. She leaves behind two sons, aged 14 and 8, whom she loved dearly and raised by herself.

Renata had recently returned to University to study her second degree in product design. She was always striving to improve the lives of her children and wanted to set an example of hard work and determination.

In January 2017, at the age of 43, Renata was sadly diagnosed with an aggressive form of colon cancer. She underwent treatment in the form of operations and chemotherapy whilst all the while remaining positive and determined to beat the cancer. Renata sadly lost her battle on 20th May 2017.

Renata's focus throughout was her children's well-being and their future. This page has been set up to ensure the positive future that Renata envisaged for her boys can happen.

The funds raised will go towards the following:
- funeral costs
- legal costs to secure guardianship for the children with their maternal grandmother and aunt as per Renata's last wishes
- rent until housing benefit can be secured
- returning Renata's ashes to Poland as per her last wishes
- travel costs for the boys to visit Poland in the future
- future education of the boys

Renata was so very grateful to all who supported her and her boys throughout her life. In her final week, Renata took comfort in the knowledge that her boys would be looked after and supported by her family and friends. Her last statement regarding this was that her boys' future was in the hands of family and friends.

This page has been set up to try and give the boys the best possible future given the tragic loss of their mother. All donations will go towards making Renata's last wishes a reality.
