In the run up to our August 2024 wedding, we have set ourselves the challenge to complete one competitive running event each month to raise money for two charities close to our hearts.

Dylan’s Starlight Trust is a family run charity in memory of Ashleigh’s cousin Dylan who sadly passed away at 13 in December 2021. Dylan was born with a complex congential heart defect, the charity aims to continue his legacy by helping and supporting families affected by similar conditions and child bereavement.

Priscilla Bacon Lodge is the palletive care facility in Norwich that cared for both of Harley’s Grandfathers in the final weeks before their passing (Robert Dunham, 18th January 2012 and Robert Lawrence, 28th August 2022). Harley’s entire family is incredibly grateful for the level of care, compassion and support we received during these heartbreaking times.

To celebrate their lives, and raise money to support both causes, we will continue to compete in numerous events, up until our wedding. All the money raised will then be split evenly between both charities. We will also be donating a further £150 to each charity through our personal wedding favours on our big day.
