Social Soundwaves is a creative arts education service that primarily focuses on developing disadvantaged young people’s creativity, confidence, and life skills through a wide variety of creative practices. Their main aims are to tackle numerous social problems such as anti social behaviour, alcohol and substance misuse, self harming, poverty and more.
The venture was created with the initiative to inspire the younger generation towards positive paths and to lead them away from negativity using creative arts as the engagement tool to success. Since founded in late 2014, Social Soundwaves has delivered services to 40+ organisations across South Wales, benefiting the lives over 700 people from different communities and social backgrounds.

With the generous support of local social enterprise and business partner 'Randomz Ltd', they acquired a space to build a recording studio/HQ that they have been passionately developing over the past two years, running private in house projects and gathering a large quantity of project content. The plan was to officially launch the venture and recording studio to the public this coming March... until their nightmare began Saturday night!
An uncontrollable fire started inside the Football Factory complex (Where we were located) and has completely DEVASTATED everything in its path!
Turning everything they had and worked o hard for into ashes.
