Story
Culross Primary School are taking on the challenge of a sponsored Ready, Steady, Read to get new books into their school, can you help them reach their goal?
Over World Book Week, 4th - 8th March, pupils will be challenging themselves to read as much as they can both in school and at home. This sponsored reading event is an opportunity for whole school involvement, boosting literacy skills and encouraging a positive reading culture through reading for pleasure.
By raising funds through pupil sponsorship and a community pledge the school will have the total amount raised to spend on new books for the school PLUS an additional percentage of funds raised will be donated by Usborne in FREE books!
If the school can raise a total of £600 or more then Usborne will donate an additional 60% on top in free books.
Culross Primary School thank you in advance for your support in achieving their goal to give them the maximum amount possible to spend on the school literary resources and help to build a fantastic access to books for the future of the local community.
