Story
Tom was a dedicated Astronomer, full of enthusiasm, helping out in his free time with the Society and to honour Tom’s memory, we are hoping to raise £200 to go towards a piece of astronomy equipment which will be used at the new centre in Mugdock park. Tom was keenly involved in setting up the centre before he passed and would be delighted to know that his legacy lives on.

On the 13th of November, Tommy and Catherine Harwood will be running a 5k in memory of Tom Clackson, a keen Astronomer and Secretary of The Astronomical Society of Glasgow. Sadly, Tom passed away unexpectedly at the age of 57 years in September last year.
