Our name is Westella Willerby under9s and we are try to raise funds for winter training and winter jackets for the children.

We have been together for just over 1 year, trying our best to keep going and keep a float, due to high winter training costs and ever expanding playing fees.

The boys are a very passionate, happy bunch of children who want to play football, (which they play very well, by the way.) the boys show this week in week out during there training sessions and at there matches on a Sunday.

Although the parents try there best to cover the costs, not only using money from there own pockets, but with fundraising, bus stops, bucket rattles, but somtimes the costs are just to much.

The children deserve the right to play football, keep fit, make friends and gain life skills along the way, they are not asking for to much they just want to exercise in an area that's not covered in duck poo or dog poo, somewhere were the gates are not been closed as soon as it gets dark or the grass is growing above there ankles.

We have tried various venues in the Hull area, all with the above issue, which has left us with only one option, which was to book a private playing field which is adding to our costs of staying a float.

Both the parents and children work very hard to fight against the upward challenges this is causing us.

But we are fighters and we want to play.
